Good morning,

I have to add an external lib to my rhapsody-project.

So I have to add the sources and the build lib. I found a way to tell rhapsody that my class has to include the headerfiles (Features -> CPP_CG -> SpecIncludes). But how do I tell Rhapsody where these files are and where the lib is?

I've never done that before. That sounds interesting.

And I can define all linked libs and search directories for the compiler and the linker with a component diagram?

Yes,
Executable can have <<Usage>> dependencies to libraries and the include paths are just set as normal in the dialog field. Drag the executable and libraries onto the diagram.

OK,... I am still having problems linking an external "lib" to my rhapsody-project.

I tell Rhapsody in the "Components" >> "Features" >> "General" >> "Libraries" field to add my libs, don't I?

In which Syntax do I do so? Lets suppose I want to link the Lib "X.lib" unter the path "C:\folder\libs\". Do I just enter "C:\folder\libs\"?

you have to enter the file name or path + file name
additional you can specify the LIB path as compiler/linker flag (depending on your compiler)
please look at the generated makefile how the settings in Rhapsody affect the makefile variables
