I'm just starting to look at TestConductor. I have followed the tutorial which demos the CashRegister class as the SUT.
When I build a similar model and create the Test Architecture, I get a Test Component called a "DummyDriver" which doesn't appear in the CashRegister demo model.
Why does my model generate a 'DummyDriver' whereas the proper demo model does not? Or - under what conditions is a DummyDriver TestComponentInstance generated? What is a DummyDriver?
**UPDATE** I've added a port to the class under test and the DummyDriver has disappeared. Does TestConductor assume that if the SUT has a port, then that is what is going to drive the tests, whereas without a port, it generates a DummyDriver and expects tests to be driven from that?

The DummyDriver exists to drive your tests or to stimulate your SUT. You also can create/use your own test driver class.
Exactly as you described in your "Update".
