Hi all,
I have reversed engineered quite of bit of code and was trying to execute this code using the animation capabilities of Rhapsody. I am quickly finding out that Rhapsody can NOT create sequences without a state machine model to go along with the code. Is this the case? I remember this tool use to be called State Mate so is that the problem?....

Thanks for the quick response. I get an expands to nothing error code when compiling. I am using vs 2003.net as the external compiler. When i compile the project in .net only, it compiles correctly. When I try to compile from within Rhapsody, I get that "...expands to nothing" error. A little background, each package contains a set of classes with implementation code in each package that performs a specific job. I created in each package, a sequence diagram consisting of the classes in each package and a structure diagram of all classes in the package which when you create the diagram, shows the dependencies. I then created a configuration component for each package in order to execute just the code I want executed for that function or behavior. For example, onboard an aircraft, i have multiple subsystems that can give me detailed status of each subsystem. If I ask for detailed status for the GPS/INS, I expect to only run that particular package component and all of its dependent classes. When I execute this package in debug mode, i would like to see the messages step through the classes and all objects associated with this class run to completion. I would appreciate any background on how to achieve this. I am attacking this from two directions. One is debug from .net and talk to the Rhapsody API and enter the animation mode calling up the particular sequence diagram. I don't know how to send the message from one swim lane of the diagram to the other swimlane (sorry for calling it a swimlane). The other is use the OXF within Rhapsody just as I mentioned above. Thanks for the reply !!
