Can anybody offer any help on generating code for a Windows CE target (running on an ARM9 core). I have followed C++ tutorial, successfully generated code using the Microsoft WinCE option. There are loads of files generated including an exe. When I try to run the exe on the target, nothing appears to happen, but I guess that's because there's no easy way of knowing anything is happening(!)

I have to say that the C tutorial makes a lot more sense to me (it's obviously a much simpler system) but I can't compile this for WinCE (the option doesn't exist). Is there an easy way to get a nice, simple application up and running on my target, that I could actually see running (e.g. console output, or serial output?)
Has anyone got one they could upload?
Even better, how can I get a debuggable project in Visual Studio (I'm running 2005)?

Just for the record, if I try and change to a Visual Studio configuration, Rhapsody fails to create the project in the IDE (and fails to locate in IDE). Any suggestions?

have you generated the application with animation ?... in this case you have to make sure that you have included a networkstack in the kernel and that the application on the target can reach the Rhapsody Environment by adding the host IP adress in the propery remotehost...

without animation you need a kind of user interface to drive the application , because there is no conosle ... try webify !!!

Integration with VisualStudio IDE (navigation etc) only works with VS2008

Thanks for the replies. Interesting to note about VS2008, perhaps I shall try that out at some point.
With regard to running the application with animation, could you explain exactly how to make the application on the target reach the Rhapsody Environment.
Being an absolute beginner, I'm afraid I don't know what you're getting at and I don't know what webify means?!
Thanks in advance.
