Hello

Is it possible to reverse engineer the GUI part of a MFC application into rhapsody?
If so, does it require special settings?

In all my attempts rhapsody refuses to model the guiapp (cwinapp) and the mfc dialog.

Any help will be appriciated.

Hello there,

Well, Rhapsody can Reverse Engineer C++ applications, and by using MFC, there shouldn`t be problems. All you have to do, is to manually add all that differences between MFC and normal C++, that you are using in your project.
example:
- Add all your non-standard types to the MISC TAB from the REVERSE ENGINEERING MENU.

Add some more details, so we can identify where the problem is.
- what error shows up in the Reverse Engineering log when it tries to reverse engineer that part?
- it dosen`t see the class at all?
- you can see some variables but no functions?
