Hi Guys,

has anyone else seen this?

The "Window Properties" dialog pops up just fine, as does the subsequent "Font" dialog, which in turn presents a list of TT fonts to choose from.

No matter what I choose, however, the editor sticks stubbornly with Courier New Regular 10pt.

Any clues?

Thanks,
jim

Same here.
Have you raised it with IBM?
There seems to be quite a few problems (related to editing) with the Linux version of Rhapsody to me.

Red Hat Enterprise License 5.3

Two problems which spring to mind ...

1) The cursor quite often is offset to where the text appears in the built-in editor normally (always?) in a commented line.
2) Double-clicking to bring up say the Features dialog suddenly stops working. You then have to click "Toggle Arrange Options" to be able to see the dialog. You can then undock the window again.

Hi Guys,

I'm also using the (officially supported) RHEL 5.3

@shanz: no, I've not raised it with IBM so far, but I'm certainly going to.

I can confirm that the cursor appears offset in _italic_ comments, but I've not (yet) had double-click stop working.
What I do see frequently is that the cursor simply vanishes from the text-editor window - only to re-appear when I click on one of the scroll-bars!!!

All the best,
jim
