Hi all

Did anyone encountered my same problem with the Stopwatch example of the C Tutorial for IBM Rational Rhapsody, animating the statechart?
This message appears on my output window.

*****************************************
<Error Found Timer Infinite Loop of Null Transitions> Break Point Active
*****************************************

I have follow the tut line by line a lot of times, but to date I have not found the solution yet.

I have added an image to explain better my problem.
Any suggestion?

Thanks

The problem would occur if the transitions between the states have no triggers, known as Null Transitions.

So how have you added the evToggle? It should be as a trigger on the transition. Double-click the transitions and check that evToggle appears as the trigger. Or have you just added some text to the diagram? evToggle should be blue.

Hi Farquad
Of course I had just triggered the event.
I have noted also that using win Xp the animotion breaks down with the output descibed above, whereas using Vista the animotion goes on inifinitely, but in both case the problem is the same, the timouted transition with tick() and show() is never used.
