Calling all API gurus!

I've just posted an API-related post in the Test Conductor sub-forum.
It's entitled, "First Foray into the API".

I'd appreciate any advice from experienced API users.

Thanks.

Hi Shanz,

i think you can use the Java API to solve your problems. I think the operation application.openProject(filename); helps you to open a project and then run your test cases.

Jan, yes I think I have to open Rhapsody via the DOS command and then I can use the Java API to open the project.
Thanks, shanz

Hi shanz,

that is one possibility you can use. I have just one another idea, so that you can have everything in one comman. It is also possible to start a programme with Java. So you can write a Java programme that first starts Rhapsody and then opens the project and starts the test. Then you have everything in one application.

Regards
Jan

JaMey,

Yes, but the Java program would actually be calling a DOS command to open Rhapsody I believe. Then an API command to open a particular project.
