Ok, so I am using a custom template in ReporterPLUS and I am trying to print the contents of a "Controlled File" in my report. I have no problem printing the contents of the file. However, if I have 2 controlled files in a single package and I want to be able to only print one of them.

For example: Lets say a package has 2 controlled files "mypackage_requirements.doc" and "mypackage_algorithm.doc"

I want to put in a "advanced" condition in my template where it will allow my template to only print "mypackage_Algorithm.doc". There is a catch. I want to make sure that this condition will work on any package which has a controlled document that end with the string "_algorithm". So, I would like to leave the "mypackage" part of the name out of the condition.

It sounds like I need a regular expression, but I do not know how to express it.
I would like a Regular Expression or a condition in the "Q Language" which says to look at Controlled Files in a package and only include the files which end with "_algorithm.doc"

Please let me know if my problem is not clear and I will try my best to reword it.

I solved my own problem. The condition/regular expression is:

$name ~= "Algorithm*"

i am new to ReporterPLUS. I didn't understand anything from the ReporterPLUS help files in regards to Q Language syntax and semantics.

Does anyone have a good tutorial on the language with some solid examples?
