Hi:

Over the past few months we have about 12 Systems Engineers building bits and pieces of a model and recently discovered that we had several issues with the path that we started. We took a step back and decided to “restructure” the model. Through the previous efforts as well as what we have now, we continue to have handling messages pop up when attempting to either open the model or do a “fetch” from our CM environment. The messages indicate that the model cannot resolve Handle GUIDs (see screenshot). I have a script that will translate the GUID to a file name but it cannot find them. My suspicion is that it has something to do with the version control tool that we are using (Razor SCC). But I don’t know how to get rid of this problem from keep popping up. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

Thanks.

It may be your config tool but I suspect not. It is possible to get your model into an inconsistent state and it sounds like this is what has happened here.

I would suggest two possible routes. Either, ask for help from the vendor, now IBM. A day of consulting from an AE may be sufficient to sort things out. Or, post your model here so we can take a look.

N.B. The easiest way of zipping your model is to generate a support email which attaches the model. The support.zip file will be placed in a support directory under your Rhapsody directory.

Hi:

Thank for your response. I am checking if the model can be sent out.

Thanks.
