Post subject: too much added files generating an error at execution? Posted: Wed May 13, 2009 2:28 pm |

Hi every body!
I have a problem with my Rhapsody customised web GUI. I try to get it richer by adding my own htm files. It was all going all right untill I reached 61 files (htm and gif + 1 .cpp). Now, even if the model is compiled with success and runs well under Rhapsody, using the web GUI generates an error that makes the application stop running.
I do not think this is linked with the number of webified elements because I already fixed this problem and even without fixing it, this generates no error it does only not show some webified elements...
I am thinking about some limitation of the Rhapsody number of added files, but I did find no information about that!
Can somebody help me please?
PS: attached a snapshot of the error generated

To get more webified elements you got to add a file to your component. There is a topic on the forum called "number of web elements" or something like this. You just have to find a file called setWebifiedElementsNumber.cpp somewhere under the Rhapsody directory. Copy this file to somewhere else and then change the buffer pool size from 11400 to 30400 ( #define BUFFER_POOL_SIZE 30400).
Now add this file (not the old one) as implementation to your component. Build all and this should work well!
PS: I still have no answer for my problem!

I have reproduced the problem with a sample model. Yes, there is a limitation in the amount of files you can add. I get an error with 58 files.
57 files is no problem.

Thank you Fred! Do you know if there is any way to act on this limitation?

Please ask IBM if you can get the Webify sources or if they can send you a modified library. Contact IBM support.
