How do I get the state of a state machine, rather than looping through possible states and testing them with IS_IN?
Also, is it possible to set state without triggering a transition? Basically, I would like to restore state at startup of my model, without having to add events from the default to all the possible states.

the information about the state is stored in rootState_active;
I heard that it is possible to store and move the current states into a new object - this is interestin for hotswap or redundant based systems .. but I don't know how ...
