I have a fairly large model. ReporterPlus works fine when generating RTF files, within the limitations of RTF files. But freezes when generating Word documents. It takes many hours to track down the offending line in ReporterPlus, and its usually a random innocuous line like a bold tag. Sometimes cutting large chunks of a template, then pasting them back in fixes the problem. Other times, old sections of the template that always worked, fail to work. Sometimes adding a heading to a table makes a font size element somewhere else in the template fail. Basically, random errors at random times.

We have Rhapsody 7.5, with several projects linked together. Some of these projects are 7.3, some are 7.5. We're generating Word 2003 documents. On the few occasions that it actually works (before we add back something that we really need), the document is almost 2,000 pages in size. On the few occasion that we get an error code of some kind, it indicates that ReporterPlus to Word communication has failed with a COMERROR.

Are there things I can do to make a generated report simpler? For example, ReporterPlus generates diagrams in Word by drawing each element individually. A box here. Some text there. An arrow here. I have several object diagrams with more drawing objects (Word boxes, lines, text, etc...) than Word allows in a single diagram. So those diagrams just look half completed in the report. We must have hundreds of thousands of drawing objects in the document. Is there a way to make ReporterPlus generate diagrams as images in Word?

we have done similar experiences with the reporter plus. We have also a large project and if we did a word report for a package then an error occured. We analyzed the error and found out that it did not occur by rtf and html reports. So it seems to be a bug in the word template (or generation). Because it is not easy to have a fix for it we now uses html reports for our model.
