Is this possible? Admission: I am a complete newcomer to Rhapsody so apologies if the following is naive.
I am using Rhapsody 7.5. I have created a project with no framework as per the IBM instructions. I set the relevant reverse engineering property to pull in all constructs, leave the visualisation only box unchecked and then reverse engineered a C++ project with no problems.
The fun starts when I try to generate code from the model or modify the code directly and roundtrip.
If I modify the code in the implemenation tab for an operation and then generate, the operation code is completely removed from the source code file. If, instead, I modify the code directly and then round trip, the code in the implementation tab is removed.
From snippets on the IBM website, I can see that generally code you want to preserve is placed within some Rhapsody automatically generated comments. But I have no framework and am not generating a mixture of auto generated code and manually entered code.
Advice would be most welcome, and no, I can't use the framework on this project (well, not yet anyway).
