using & instead * in association

I have a one to one relation between two classes and the following question:
is there a way to use a reference in the generated code instead a pointer

any ideas

I can maybe start you off in a direction that may get you what you want. I have to admit that I've never had a need to do this so there may be a better approach.

Alter the following Properties for the Association:

CG::Relation::Implementation User

OMContainers::User::CType $target&
